Presented by Convent Kids

Welcome to digital Sapling School—for curious kids and their adults developed as part of our Convent Kids program.

Join Play Specialist Catherine Sewell in this delightful video, and dive into this playful educational resource to learn about Poorneet (Tadpole) Season in the Kulin Nation’s calendar, learn how to plant seeds, and more!

Then explore the sprawling surrounds and rediscover your backyard, local creek or parkland and get those hands dirty as you play, learn and have fun together outside!

Tailored for children aged 3-5 years, the Convent’s Sapling School is designed to introduce sustainability education at an early age, to encourage environmentally-conscious habits and to support children’s connection to their community and the land.

The next Sapling School  happening on-site at the Convent will take place later in the year, please sign up to the Convent Kids newsletter to be the first to know.
