[Past Event] Hedda, Nora, Julie & Me

Hedda, Nora, Julie & Me looks at four heroines plucked from the classical canons of famous playwrights Chekov, Ibsen and Strindberg.

Four women meet and talk about their dreams, desires, and everything in between. Hedda from Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler, Julie from Strindberg’s Miss Julie, Nora from Ibsen’s Doll’s House and Nina from Chekov’s Seagull. 

Apart from the original plays, playwright Joachim Matschoss brings this new theatre-piece to life by using the letters between Ibsen and Strindberg, Chekov’s diaries, short stories, and other secondary literature to create a vibrant new work.
