Convent Live presents Diametric Convergences, an interrogation of gesture, tactility and sound.
David Moran (Celloist) and Iran Sanadzadeh (Pressure Sensitive Floors) connect acoustic and electronic instruments, inviting audiences to examine the visual and the sonic with equal attention.
Over two days the lofty North Magdalen Laundry will be imbued with the mysterious sounds of The Floors and the direct physicality of the cello. The pair will showcase a musical program featuring a suite of their most recent works, composed and recorded in 2021 through the support by Arts SA.
