The wait is over!

After a year of monumental work by some of Australia’s finest composers and musicians, the ANAM Set Festival is the largest commission of new classical music that has ever been undertaken in Australia. In this brand-new music festival, 67 musicians will perform 9 carefully-curated concerts and over 8 hours of music, written by 67 of the best composers this country has to offer.

About

The Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) is dedicated to training the most exceptional young classical musicians from Australia and New Zealand. It is the only professional performance training institute of its kind in Australia, and one of few in the world.

Access

ANAM Set Festival is taking place across several venues at Abbotsford Convent. Below are the accessibility notes for each venue:

North Magdalen Laundry The North Magdalen Laundry is universally accessible, and the related Mezzanine space is accessible via an elevator. Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available within the venue

The Industrial School is wheelchair accessible, however the flooring is rough. Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available close to the venue.

The Oratory is wheelchair accessible. Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available close to the venue.

The Packing Room is wheelchair accessible. Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available close to the venue.

The Community and Linen Rooms are wheelchair accessible. The adjoined balcony is not wheelchair accessible. Gendered toilets are available within the Convent Building. Accessible and gender-neutral toilets are available at other locations within the Abbotsford Convent Precinct.
