About

James Littlewood is a young bass trombonist from Melbourne with a passion for connecting people through music. His musical pursuits have taken him across the world to work with a wide range of people in Canada, Asia, and Europe. During his undergraduate studies at Monash University, he received scholarships to study abroad at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) and La Scuola comunale di musica “Giuseppe Verdi” (Prato, Italy). In 2018, James joined the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on its tour of Asia. All of these formative experiences continue to inspire him to perform and use music to connect people.

James is currently in his 3rd year of training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM).
