Convent Made

Abbotsford Convent is home to a vibrant creative community of more than 150 artists and creatives, as well as a diverse range of organisations and wellbeing practitioners, transforming the precinct into a hub of creative community impact.

Throughout the year there are opportunities to go behind-the-scenes and meet some of these talented artists and makers and explore inside their studios.

Each year the Convent also runs a Convent Made pop-up shop, a market to showcase the many beautiful, handcrafted items made locally, right here. All sorts of homewares, jewellery, paintings and ceramics, among other things, are available from makers including Ink & Spindle, Cone 11, Katheryn Leopoldseder, Kids’ Own Publishing, Leonie McGinley and Mary Peacock.
