The Abbotsford Convent is a dynamic, community-focused arts driven site. It spans 16 acres; houses almost 300 learning, wellbeing and creative practitioners and organisations, and now welcomes over one million visitors a year! With a very small staff base, the Abbotsford Convent Foundation is always looking for dedicated and passionate volunteers to help out.

Who can volunteer?

We welcome people from all walks of life, including retirees, students, parents, people with a disability and professionals. Due to our insurance, all volunteers must be between 18 – 80 and undergo a working with children check.

What we will provide you with:

  • Training for the role
  • Free car parking whilst volunteering
  • Invites to volunteer functions and exclusive ACF events
  • The opportunity to interact with new people
  • The chance to make a positive and personal contribution to the community
  • Coffee / tea and snacks
